Halftime is where the noise fades, the scoreboard is faced honestly, and the coach reminds every player why they are on the field in the first place.
Here are three vital lessons that can transform the second half of our year.
First, every person has a position. God hasn't created any of us to simply watch from the stands. Each of us has been uniquely wired with gifts, passions and experiences that can make a real difference in the lives of others.
Second, you discover your purpose by getting into the game. Very few people find their calling by standing on the sidelines waiting for certainty. More often, purpose is discovered one faithful step at a time.
Third, your contribution is part of a much bigger story. For over two thousand years, ordinary followers of Jesus have quietly influenced healthcare, education, justice, compassion, the arts, business and communities across the world. History has been shaped not only by famous leaders, but by countless ordinary people who simply found their position and faithfully played it.
Whether you've been following Jesus for decades, are new to church, or are simply exploring what faith is all about, this message is for you.
Perhaps the second half of 2026 isn't about trying harder.
Perhaps it's about discovering where you belong.
