Hey, Wayne Here
Grace in Motion
29 May 2026
Today I write to you on my Birthday. I was born in Jagersfontein on the 29th May 1965, a long time ago. This Birthday will be my first without my mother, the one who gave birth to me, physically present on earth. I am today so profoundly moved to give thanks to God for her life, my life to date and the life I still have to live. May you use my birthday to do the same as you look back on your life with gratitude and forward with hope.
This Sunday we begin a series on the book of Revelation. There are some books of the Bible people avoid. Revelation is probably at the top of the list.
For some, it brings images of fear, confusion, beasts, predictions, timelines, and the end of the world. For others: it feels distant, strange, or impossible to understand.
But what if we’ve misunderstood it?
What if Revelation is not meant to make us afraid… but awake?
Not a puzzle to solve.
Not a code to crack.
But a curtain being pulled back.
Because beneath all the imagery and mystery is a question every generation asks:
Who is really in control?
Beginning Sunday 31 May, we begin a brand-new series through the Book of Revelation called, interestingly REVELATION.
Together we’ll explore:
why this ancient book still matters,
what it reveals about our world,
and why its message may be more hopeful than you imagined.
And perhaps most importantly: What if the end of the story is not fear… but hope?
Join us at any Grace campus or online at the Digital Campus as we begin this journey together.
Love to you and yours
