Hey, Wayne Here

Grace in Motion

6 February 2026
In just one week we begin a new journey together as a community both online and at our physical campuses: Made for More — What Are We Capable Of? This series, rooted in the book of Nehemiah, is an invitation to lift our eyes beyond what is and rediscover what could be when ordinary people trust God and move forward together.

Nehemiah tells the story of a people who refused to accept ruin as their future. Faced with broken walls, opposition, and their own limitations, they chose courage over comfort and faith over fear. Families stood shoulder to shoulder. Individuals played their part. And together, they rebuilt what seemed impossible. It is a reminder that God often does His greatest work not through a few extraordinary people, but through a united community willing to say yes.

As we prepare for this series, we believe God is stirring something in us again — a holy restlessness, a sense that we were made for more than maintenance, more than survival, more than “getting by.”  We were made to rebuild, to restore, to reach and to step into the purposes He has prepared for us.

Over the coming week, we invite you to read the book of Nehemiah. It’s not long, but it is powerful. As you read, look for the courage of one leader, the faith of a people, and the way God works through prayer, unity and action. Ask yourself: where are the broken walls in my life, my family, and our community? And what might God be inviting us to build together?

Let’s come expectant. Let’s come prayerful. Let’s come ready.  Because when God’s people move together in faith, we often discover we are capable of far more than we ever imagined. And this might just be our moment to step into it.

Love to you and yours,
Wayne Taylor
