Hey, Wayne Here

Grace in Motion

13 March 2026
Over the past weeks something very special has been unfolding that I would love our Grace community to know about, and celebrate.

A small team of us — myself, Paul Rowney and Marius Malan — had the privilege of hosting Lane and Traci Jones from Atlanta for a four–city journey through South Africa. Together we spent time in Cape Town, Gqeberha, Durban and Vanderbijlpark, connecting with church leaders who share a common vision: to build churches that reflect the compelling, life-giving way of Jesus and are deeply committed to becoming what we call Irresistible Churches.

This tour was not simply a series of meetings. It was a reminder that what God is doing at Grace is part of something far bigger than our local congregation. Across cities and cultures there are pastors and communities asking the same question: What would it look like for the church to remove unnecessary barriers so that people can clearly see and respond to the message of Jesus?

Grace has been a pioneer in this vision in South Africa. Many of the conversations we had, the principles we shared and the encouragement we were able to offer flowed directly from the faith, generosity, and courage of our own community. In many ways, the influence of Grace travelled with us into every meeting and every church.

What we are witnessing is the slow but powerful formation of a network of leaders and churches who are committed to helping people find and follow Jesus in fresh, compelling ways. And Grace is not simply observing this movement — you are helping shape it.

Thank you for being the kind of church that thinks beyond itself. Thank you for your prayers, your generosity and your willingness to imagine what God might do through a community fully surrendered to His purposes.

We are part of something bigger than we can see right now — and I believe the best chapters are still ahead.

Love to you and yours, near and far.
