The Church is the HOPE of the world.

Because Jesus has conquered death, the local church is not a waiting room for heaven; it is the outpost of heaven on earth—the literal hope of the world. 

So what do we do while we wait? We carry Christ into the present with the healing, justice, and worship of God’s future.

Jesus isn’t our hope because we get to go to heaven one day. Yes, that is a beautiful eternal truth we carry. BUT Jesus is our hope because through Him we have become the hope of the world. In him we live and move and have our being - we carry him into the world. 

The world needs more of Jesus therefore the world needs more of you!

So what do we do?

Pray.

Do what you already do - through the lens of heaven on earth.
